Hi,
Due to the data growth, we have to increase the disk size where the data files resides.
Our SQL 2019 high availability group is running in VMWare v.7. 2 nodes. Do I right click the VM, Edit Settings, then increase the disk size, then expand it in disk manager? I assume I have to do this for both nodes to make sure both have the same disk size.
Is there anything I need to do?
Appreciated for all the help.

You might also look into data compression (both page compression and COMPRESS()/DECOMPRESS() for long text data).
SQL DBA,SQL Server MVP(07, 08, 09) "It's a dog-eat-dog world, and I'm wearing Milk-Bone underwear." "Norm", on "Cheers". Also from "Cheers", from "Carla": "You need to know 3 things about Tortelli men: Tortelli men draw women like flies; Tortelli men treat women like flies; Tortelli men's brains are in their flies".

Thank you. That's very good information. I should look into it.

you need to expand at the VM level, then do the same at OS level.
