Executing xp_cmdshell remotely

  Hi,

  I have two servers A & B. I am trying to execute a remote procedure on server B from server A via the xp_cmshell extended stored procedure.  I keep getting errors that denies execution of xp_cmdsheel remotely.

  Am working with sql sever 2000 on windows 2000 platforms

  Pls help.
