Executing gzip or sslftp from within an SSIS Package

    Okay, either I am totally stressed, blind, or both.  I am trying figure out how to go about scripting a command line execution of gzip and sslftp from within SSIS.  I have been reading BOL and just can't seem to find anything to help me in writing a script to execute on OS cmd line.

    Any help pointing me in the right direction at this time is greatly appreciated.

    how about using xp_cmdshell from an Execute SQL Task?  Haven't tried that from within SSIS but....

    That was one of the options I was looking at, but I think I found what I wanted, and it was staring me in the face the whole time: the Execute Process task.
