I have an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Sql Server DBA in Wisconsin.
In this position, you would be responsible for administering databases on Unix, NT and AS/400 platforms. Also responsible for the design and implementation of new or enhanced databases and the support of data manipulation, data transfer and data replication.
-Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a database
design methodology that will entail datat analysis, data modeling, logical database
design, physical database design, database optimization, database implementation
and ongoing application database support.
-Responsible for all database changes from development through production.
-Responsible for ongoing database maintenance, upgrades, tuning, capacity planning,
backup/recovery, replication and security.
-Responsible for the evaluation, selection, implementation and support of the various
RDBMS's and tools required to support the various database instances.
-Responsible for providing data model and database technical support to AD&D.
