Excel Destination Failed

  Hi,

  I have MS SQL 2005 Ent SP2 on Windows Server 2003. SSIS package with Excel Destination ran fine on my local box (Windows XP). After saving the package to server side under MSDB, I got an error:

  "Error: component "Excel Destination" (212) failed validation and returned error code 0xC020801C.

  There is no MS Office installed on server side. Do I need one on Server? Thanks for any tip.

  Does the Agent user have appropriate rights to the destination?

  Thanks for the help, Jim. Yes, you were right to add the Agent permission to folder. Leave me only one more problem to deal - send email task.
