Hi,
i am using sql server 2005 + analysis services.
I have processed cubes.
I want to work on them through MS Excel. I have installed the MS add-in called 'Cube Analysis' which enable to use the cube features within MS Excel. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=DAE82128-9F21-475D-88A4-4B6E6C069FF0&displaylang=en
It works fine excepted one issue I am encountering:
On a row or column heqder, when I click on it, a popup window appears with the possible values. That's good but there's no checkbox against each item! This is a major issue because I want to be able to select only a few of the items.
Note: we have checkboxes with the Pivot Table contextual menu.
Any help much appreciated.

With the cube analyser I think you can only choose items on a page filter.
I find it is much better to bring the cube into a normal Excel pivot table. The hierachical dimensions work well with the normal pivot table and you have the added feature to switch on the graphs. I have only used the cube analyser for special reports (at a cell level) or using advanced features like "drill through" to the relational database.
