excel comma separate file with comma in the cell import to MS ACCESS

  • In the MS office Excel comma separated value file, the data shows properly, but when I try to export the csv file into excel. if the data has comma in the excel cell, it will separate the data.

    Smith, HowardColumbus NE68601

    but when I imported into MS ACCESS, it same out as Smith HowardColumbus NE 68601 Five column in instead .

  • When you import the file, make sure that the text specifier is set to " (double quote) in the second screen of the Import Text wizard.

    If you want to do this regularly, click on the Advanced button and create an import specification

  • I set that as link table right now. It should solve the problem.Thx.
