What is the best way to prepare for exam 70-431? Recommended books and/or practice tests.

Books online and tutorials, http://www.microsoftelearning.com and doing actual deployments.

I am studying for it right now...I use Safari Online Books from O'Reilly Press. they have the official MS stufy guide in their catalog for 70-431.
Also downloading a trial version of MSSQL 2005 Standard is helpful. I have a copy of 2005 Express running on my laptop, I use that, but it is missing some features. You can download sample databases from MS here:
