Exam 70-019 Data Warehousing on SQL 7.0

  • Hi all,

I am due to take the Designing and Implementing Data Warehouses with Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 (exam 70-019) very soon before it is retired on 30 June 2004.

Does anyone have any good study resources or advice about this exam?  I have the Microsoft Training Kit for it and have also worked on Data Warehouses and OLAP cubes with Analysis Services but there is very little information about this exam and what to expect.  I have only been able to find practice exams from MeasureUp.

Any advice/recommendations would be most appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Angela

  • I just took this test today and did not pass.  It is very hard and the questions take a lot of thought.  I had to really rush to finish. My score was 580 with 620 needed to pass.  The transcender examples and brain dump(34 question from mcsebraindumps) do not match this exam.  I have one last chance to pass and I could use some help too!

  • I passed this exam last week.  It was my favourite exam out of all the SQL exams.  I didn't find it too hard and a lot of of the questions focussed on designing OLAP solutions and managing the data.  I think if you have experience in an OLAP environment you should have very few problems passing the test.

Now I've finally finished my MCDBA!!!
