  Has anyone used Event Forwarding? I'm looking for an alternative to SQL Mail and would like to know if I can forward specific events to another server running SQL Mail.

  Yes, I've used it. I redirect event logs to my server to fire alerts and execute jobs and send email notifications.

  Check for your network speed because you may have many servers redirecting sql events to the master server.

  I was able to get it to work, but I want to know if I can filter events instead of sending ALL events.
