Hi all,
Quick question, does anyone have experiences of SQL Server on a UNISYS ES7000 box. I've read mixed reviews and I'm getting confused from what looks like standard marketing info. I hear its a real pain to configure given the partitions, allocations etc and I'm not 100% up on Windows 2000 Data Center and how it interacts with the ES7000. Any help, guidance or views would be massively appreciated!
Cheers,
Steve

One, Unisys will come out and setup the machine any way you want it. It comes pre-loaded with datacenter. If people are complaining about doing it all themselves they are missing one of the benifits of working with unisys and the ES7000. Unisys has excelent people and engineers to come set this monster up for you. We have looked at one several times and I know people who have one. They are just estatic about this machine.

Thanks very much. I was leaning towards going down that route, the client has gone with UNISYS big time would be easy to arrange. Once again, thanks.
