I run SAP on a Win2003 clustered environment and occasionally we are having issues with SQL (2000) on this system. SAP service manager remains alive but I receive an error when attempting to connect at the desktop frontend. I received an error through the event viewer with the following ID of 17055, Error 3624, Severity 20 state 1.
Any clues

Are you running the latest version of sql srever (SP3)?

Yes we are. This has only just been installed and is in a pre-production stage. I cannot allow this to go-live until this has been resolved.

Have you run a DBCC Checkdb on your user databases to make sure there is no data corruption.
Also, can you give us a little more information on your environment. Such as the hardware you are running on, whether or not you are using a SAN, if so, which one. Are you using active/passive or active/active clustering. Is the clustering software Veritas or Microsoft. Any information you might think would be helpful to us.

I have run checkdb on all databases that reside on this environment. There are no apparent errors.
Our hardware is as follows. IBM x445's, we are arunning IBM FastT storage using MS clustering services. We are also using active/passive.

I searched the microsoft website and it looks like there are several issues that generate this particular error message. Here is the link to the search. Hope it helps.
