i have sql server standard edition installed on my system. Now i need to restore a database which have reference to a web service(I guess.. the value is like this..testEMPTY_2.NEWSITETEST0001. But the problem is while trying to restore the .bak file i had set path for .mdf and .ldf but dont know where to point for the third variable. Anyone have idea about how to remove the extra variable that has been asked while restoring the database else is it possible to edit the .bak file?
