Error while doing a DTS as job

  I select rows from a table an export that to an txt file. this txt file is saved on an other server as the sql runs.

  The log gives me an : Access denied to open the file.

  What can I do ?

  I can think of a couple of things to check.

  1. Check the file is not currently open by you or anyone else.

  2. Does the Account SQL is runing under have access to the other server - can it write to a file on one of it's own drives?
