Error while creating DataSource in SSIS 2008

    Hi friends,

    I'm getting the bellow error while trying to create a DataSource in SSIS 2008. I just right clicked the DataSource folder in the solution and followed the vizard. When I clicked the 'Test Connection' it was showing as connection successful, but finally when I clicked the Finish button in the vizard I go the error message popup as:

    "object reference not set to an instance of an object"

    What could be the reason.?

    Is happening again or just once...

    have you checked whether you are still connected to DB.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Now when I tried to create it again , it got created without any error, don't know how... 🙂
