While trying to create a new SSIS project in BIDS 2008 I get the following error:
Failed to save package file "C:\Documents and Settings\...\Local Settings\Temp\tmp78E.tmp" with error 0x800... "Error loading type library/DLL."
The project is still created after I click OK.
When I then try to add a new package to the project I get this error:
Failed to save package file "C:\Documents and Settings\...\Local Settings\Temp\tmp787.tmp" with error 0x800... "Error loading type library/DLL."
Anyone else had this issue, and what can I do to resolve it?
Do I need to uninstall everything and re-install?

What happens if you clean out your temp dirs?
What happens if you change the system temp variable to point to a different location?
