HI,
I have a replication setup where there is a publisher and 4 subscribers. All running SQL 2005 SP3 and a custom VB.Net resolver.
I am getting the following error message when attempting to replicate some rows from 3 different tables.
"Unable To Synchronize The Row Because The Row Was Updated By A Different Process Outside Of Replication"
This is happening across multiple subscribers, but restricted to the same 3 tables. Also is does not affect every change to these tables.
After Googling the error, the only scenario where this happens seems to be where old Replication procs are left behind after a reinit, and the table nickname in the SP is incorrect. I have checked and this is not happening in my case.
Has anyone else come across this issue? Is there any way of resolving it other than deleting the subscriptions, publication and starting again.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Neil
