  Good Afternoon,

  I am getting the following error when I restore a 7.0 database to a named 2000 server.

  The database is not published

   

  I have never seen this message before.  The database appears to be fine, but I do not know why I received the error.  I immediately restored a second database from the same 7.0 server and did not get an error. 

  Any help would be much appreciated.

  Was the database involved in replication?

  Simple google search on your error message gives some good indications - if one of them works could you please post here in case anyone else gets the error.
