Hi,
I'm trying to install Sql Server 2008 Enterprise R2 (obtained from MSDN subscription) in a Windows Server 2008 R2 (64 bit).
It is always returning an error about a file that could not be read.. (see attachment 1)
I've run the ''system configuration checker'' and it's all ok..and the setup support rules are all ok when the installation starts.
I'm installing from a burned DVD.
I also tryed install from an iso image, extracted with 7zip and i get another error.
Unable to open 'windows installer file' -. sql_fulltext.msi.. (sse attachment 2)
Anyone has had the same errors? Any ideias how to solve this?
Regards.

Looks like the source files have problems/corruption. Doesn't appear to be your media (DVD) since you also tried unzipping.
I would redownload the whole iso from MSDN again.
