Error Installing SP3 in SQL 7.0

    Error message "component not correctly registered" prompt up whenever I tried to install sp3 or sp4 in SQL7.0 then it continues. What does this imply?

    That a dll was not registered in the OS, can be an issue but most times is not. Check funtionality of EM and QA when done as those are the two likely candidates.
