Hi,
i encounter this error when i execute a transform data task from SQL Server DB to AS400 DB2 DB:
Query cannot be updated because it contains no searchable columns to use as a key.
this dts has been running for nearly 2 years without any problem. however when i run this package (which is in the server) from my local pc, it works alrite.
i've checked the odbc connection and it looks the same.
what could have gone wrong?

The package runs ok from your machine, but fails when the server tries to run it. Is the server only failing when it is a scheduled job?
Have you tried to physically run it from the server - not as a scheduled job, but running it from enterprise manager on the server?

Just Try the following KB article.Also check latest Service pack are applied on the server.

it's not a scheduled job. i've tried running it manually and still hit the same error.

i've read the article and not sure how to solve my problem. there's no direction on the setting.
windows is having service pack 4.
any idea?
