Hi all
Have a couple of scheduled DTS local packages that export tables to xls documents. Until today, everything was working fine, but now they don't work. BTW, running SQL Server 2k.
The error message is:
Executed as user: xxx\SYSTEM. DTSRun: Cannot create COM Server to load and execute DTS Package. Error -2147221164 (80040154): Class not registered. Process Exit Code -2147221164. The step failed.
Tried to run in command line but same error.
Checked post http://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums/shwmessage.aspx?forumid=19&messageid=128267 but does not help.
Can anyone help me to fix this?
Also, how can I check wich SP ins installed on the server?
Thanx.

I'll take a stab at it. Sounds like the SQL Client Tools on the workstation you're running EM on isn't installed completely. I ran into this same situation when attempting to run DTS packages from a .Net app. dtsrun.dll wasn't installed for some reason. I uninstalled and reinstalled the client tools and, voila, it worked.
