We have several clients upgrading to 2008. On some of the SQl boxes identical databases fail on varchar to int conversions etc. in the stored procedures, but not on all servers. On some the routines work fine.
Does anyone know, there a server/database set up tick box we are missing somewhere?
And the carrot is ...

are all your sql 2000 servers on SP4 ?
(after upgrade to sp4 for sql2k we noticed this change in behavior in some cases)

Some from 2000, some 2005 and some fresh installs with the same schema onto 2008. We have notice the clients are not hotfixed up, so we're starting there. There appears to be alot of query optimisation in those fixes. Maybe that's the problem. You guys are fast here though!
