Error: 9001, Severity: 21, State: 1. The log for database 'LDRYPROD' is not available.

    Can someone please explain why are we getting this error message The log for database 'abc123' is not available.

    Because, for some reason, the log file (the .ldf file) is not accessible to SQL Server. Without a pile more information, that's about all that can be said
