"Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 16.Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM'. [CLIENT: <local machine>]"

    Hi All,

    I get the below error contineously in one of the SQL Server 2005 serrver.

    "Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 16.Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM'. [CLIENT: <local machine>]"

    'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM' is sysadmiin in the server and all DBs are up and running fine too.

    Can someone please help on this.

    OS was Windows 2003 server and SQL Server 2005 earlier.

    Later only OS was upgraded toWindows 2008 server and SQL Server is still 2005.

    Has anyone faced this issue ? Any suggestions please ?

    Reporting services DBs were missing from this server.. hence the issue.
