One of the users can connect to Server A from SQL Analyzer with NT Authentication, but fail to connect to server B. However, everybody else can connect to both Server A and Server B with NT Authentication. Note that, the login is appropriately set.
Both servers have the same information:
OS: Windows 2000
SQL: 2000 (SP3)
Any ideas? Thanks!

Have you tried to drop the user login and re-grant him to access server B.

Yes. Is this has anything to do with MDAC?? The server is using TCP/IP and Name Pipes.
By the way, the user usually use the same laptop to connect to the network from home. Maybe there is some security setting in his laptop we need to look at?

Which version of MDAC his machine has? Is named instance or default instance in server B he tried to access?

Is he able to access Server B when he machine is in company local network? When accessing from home, does he have any network access problem? Can he ping to the server B?

We only have Default instance. He cannot log into the server while he was in the company i.e. local network. And guess what, now I have another user who has the opposite case.
User 1 - Can connect to Server A, cannot connect to Server B
User 2 - Can Connect to Server B, cannot connect to Server A
???

The problem resolved. It is due to the users are connecting to the network without logging into the domain. Thank you very much for your help!! I really appreciate that!!
