We recently upgraded from Win2k to WinXP Pro and have noticed a small but annoying difference in the way the Enterprise Manager is displaying within the MMC.
Under W2K the you would get a menu/tool bar appropriate for each window and it was located in that window.
However, with WinXP Pro, the tool/menu bar stays at the parent window.
Anyone else experience this? Any thought on a setting or something in MMC that would change this behavior?
Thanks

As I understand SQL Server's Enterprise Manger is an MMC application/snap-in. So just open up Enterprise Manager.
It is most notable when you open a table from EM. In the previous OS version the new window had the menu bar and a tool bar. In XP (at least with our install) it has a windows with no toolbar or menu bar but rather the appropriate toolbar and menu bar are displayed on the parent windows.
I can provide pictures if it will help make more sense.
I would rather have them use Query analyzer but EM is more comfortable for them because they are accustomed to the interface of MS Access that lets them see things kinda like EM. Oh well....old habits are hard to break.
Thanks
