enterprise manager is not opening : error 1114

  when i tried to open sql enterprise manager in 2000 it displays error 1114 . even we tried registered from mmc same error is coming .even we copied sql enterprise manager .msc from the other server and tried to open by renaming the existing . got the sam e error. we registered regsvr32 also it didnt worked for me . please advice how to solve this .

  Seems to be a problem with MMC. Why not connect to the instance using SSMS?

  You can download SSMS from here and install in on the same server.
