hi, i have my sql server 2000 installed in nt windows, i also have the client tools installed in my computer, my question is when i use enterprise manager throught my computer (using client tools installed) EM runs very fast. But when I go directly in the server it runs very slow. is there some type of setting I should change to put the priority on the server? I want the EM on the server to run the fastest...

This is an unusual behaviour to say the least, are you able to confirm that sufficient memory is available for the OS and other applications? Would there be other applications running on the server that is taking up memory? There could be other reasons, but your sys admin guys should be able to help track down the problem!

how can i check is there sufficient memory in my OS? and no in my sql server box i only have sql server enterprise , query analyzer and another software but the other software is running fast, any other hints?
help!
