Surprisingly, some kids do get the idea of family. The first grade teacher was asking kids what their favorite part of Christmas was and our granddaughter answered "Being with my family." Her parents make the 650 mile trek to our area each year (both sets of grandparents live within a couple of miles of each other), a daughter and her husband come from 160 miles away, and my wife's brother and his family come 400 miles. That means that the grandkids see more family for a longer period at Christmas than any other time.
I think this kid has a firm grasp on what's really important in life...

Merry Christmas,
Get out of the office Early,
and make sure you double check the server and database before you execute that last update statement before you skate out of the office.

Thanks and Merry Christmas again to everyone.
And don't execute any last statements. Save them for Friday.
