Not in SQL Server 2012.
The trouble is that not all parts of Books On Line have been updated correctly. In particular the SMO programming section will mislead people into believing that SQL 2012 supports SOAP endpoints, while the Transact SQL reference section correctly states that SOAP endpoints are no longer supported. Steve has raised to notify MS of the problem and ask them to fix the broken documentation. You might want to go and vote for it, as that will help convince MS that it matters.

Good question. never used an endpoint before, so I Googled it and the first thing that comes up is the conflicting BOL http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms162560.aspx

Good question. I didn't knew about SOAP so answered correctly. Didn't had idea or clue about it. So happy to gain 1 point plus the information I got. 🙂
