Great question, but it would good to mention that HTTP,SOAP was deprecated in SQL Server 2008 R2 and ultimately removed in SQL 2012.

Nice question. Missed it as I mistakenly used the BOL entry for 2012. Went straight for HTTP SOAP as the incorrect answer. Doh! At least I learned something, which is the purpose of QOTD. Thanks.

Originally deprecated in SQL 2008.

Great question.
I remembered that OAP/HTTP endpoints were deprecated in sql 2008, saw that one on the list, and assumed that was it. Careless of me, as it didn't get dropped until sql 2012.

Nice question. Got caught on the HTTP/SOAP option as well.

As did I: always check the SQL version of the BOL page that you're reading. A very good lesson to learn since this isn't the first time that I've found myself looking at behaviour of a different SQL Server version than I was actually using...:(

Another one, caught by the HTTP:SOAP deprecation, nice question though.
