Enabling Network DTC in a SQL Server 2008 cluster

    Will enabling Network DTC have any effect on SQL Server, and are there any requirements from the SQL Server side for the process (restart etc.).

    Windows 2008 or Windows 2003?

    adding the role to the server shouldnt require a reboot

    What about any performance issues?

    What about a SQL Server restart?
