If I wasn't confused before, I sure am now. I've been tasked to enable SQL Mail on a ss2k server and our e-mail system is Lotus Notes. Everything I read is how to do it with MS Exchange and Outlook and I don't have either.

BE 100% sure to test sending emails with Lotus while logged on as the account that SQLServer will use to send mail before going near the actual SQL Server configuration. I fthat isn't working you;ll never get the SQL bit too work and it will drive you insane trying 😀
