Email subscription report attachment error

    I am trying the Walkthrough - Creating a Data-Driven Subscription. The email formatted as HTML comes through OK but the emails with the PDF and Image attachments produce an email with the following error.

    The Microsoft Exchange Server received an Internet message that could not be processed. To view the original message content, open the attached message.

    I can get the report server to export as PDF or TIF Image when viewing the report.

    Anyone successfully gone through this Walkthrough?

    I had a similar problem with the SQL2K version. I posted in the beta forum, and had one reply (not from MS) that this corrupted attachment error was a problem associated with Exchange versions earlier than 2000. We'll be upgrading soon to 2000, so I hope this eror is resolved. Maybe someone has more info or insights?

    imackenz is correct. The problem is with the base64 encryption used by Reporting Services. It is supposedly going to be fixed when they release the product later this month.
