  Hi Experts,

  I am getting the following error when setting up a email notification job. The error happens when i press the TEST button.

  "Error 22022: SQLServerAgent Error: The SQLServerAgent mail session is not running; check the mail profile and/or the SQLServerAgent service startup account in the SQLServerAgent Properties dialog."

  note: we are using smtp mail server.

  Pl tell me, what is the problem on server? and How to slove?

  by reading the error message it looks like the "SQL Agent" service is not running. If it is running, then probably the account used for the SQL Agent has not the required rights to use the mail feature.
