Recently, the daily email newsletter has come to my inbox with some strange formatting. Once every few days, the width of the newsletter extends way out past the width of my monitor, and this makes it very difficult to read. When this happens, I just delete it - I don't even try to read it.
Has this happened to anyone else? It only occurs since the upgrade of the site, so that might have something to do with it, I suppose.

Are you downloading pictures?

Yep.
Here is a screen shot from the 9th, where everything wraps properly:

Here a screen shot from the 11th, where the wrapping is screwed up:

Steve, I'd noticed the same thing happening. I figured it was the same old bit where in one of the included Forum topic snippets someone had used some funky formatting and it was hosing the entire newsletter.
Perhaps the new WYSIWYG editor you guys is introducing some new oddities to deal with and are making these things occur more often than they used to?

Not sure what's going on .We should fit in a window with 1024 resolution, but I'll log this.
If possible, can you scroll to the right and down and see if you can determine which is the longest line?
October 15, 2007 at 12:29 pm
Steve, it looks like Charles and I are both using Gmail. If I view the the newsletter from the archive it's fine. When I view it via gmail the longest line is a toss up between the RedGate SQL Backup add (which is probably just expanding like it is supposed to do) and the "To be removed from this list, " bit at the end.
there are a few posts from the forums that come close, to the right border, but the one that looks rather odd is the build a green datacenter article bit. The Article teaser code is...
thanks for looking into this for us.
-Luke.
FYI I'm using FF 2.0.0.7 if it helps. I tried it in IE as well, but it never gave me the choice to download the images so the entire thing was off.

Sorry for messing up the forum 😀
It was from this section:

The line was the code behind this text:

Let me know if you have trouble accessing it. I'm trying out MS's new file hosting service "SkyDrive."
