email invoice pdf to customer when invoice inserted

  hello,

  I have a very common scenario, I don't know how to do it, the thing is turning my heads on, there is a customer table and invoice master/detail table when i enter invoice in invoice master/detail table then the invoice copy should go in pdf format by way of email which is mentioned for that customer in customer master table .

  Any ideas whether it can be done. if so please tell me in brief how.

  I'm not sure if you should do this entirely in SSRS, but if you choose so:

  1) build a report that is the invoice (check whether it exports correctly to pdf)

  2) publish the report on your reportserver

  3) set up a datadriven subscription (check BOL/MSDN/SSC/etc on how to accomplish this)
