I have embedded a report in to a html page and would like to customise the default parameter box at the top of each report. Is it possible to adjust the size of the parameter bar or position of the parameter boxes in a report?
Thanks

I'm not aware of any way of changing the properties of the parameter boxes that show up in Report Manager, but you can create your own report wrapper using the RS webservice, if you really need that level of control.
Are you using the ReportViewer, or did you just embed a link to the report in your html page? I don't believe either of these will let you position the parameters themselves, but the former should at least let you control where the parameter "bar" shows up.

I am using the ReportViewer. Thanks for your reply that answers my question.

actually, for report viewer, u can change the color of the parameter bar, change the color of the parameter label, font, etc n stuff lyk that by just changing the stylesheet of that... the stylesheet will be found in MSSQL.X\reportserver\stylesheet.css i guess... better take a copy of that stylesheet, edit it and then add this stylesheet to the configuration file by adding a line(i forgot, but if u want the exact thngs, reply to this thread), in rsserver.config. or better u can append &rc:stylesheet=SS to the end of the URL (assuming ur stylesheet name is SS.css).
i even managed to add our company logo in the parameter bar as well as in the "Report is being generated" part of the treport...looks kewl...
As for report manager, i havent tried, but same way u can edit the stylesheet, and better, u can position the length if the parameter bars also unlike in ReportViewer. Also u can play around with it a bit like creating a link in the parameter bar itself (u will have to modify some .js file also but its worth it 🙂 )
