Edit or check older CUBE without project file.

    Hi All,

    I can create cube and deploy it.

    But it has some cube that former DBA create it.

    I can not find the project file for that one.

    Just need to ask, How can I edit or check cube structure of the old cube with BIDS without project file?

    Or please give me the link, if it already has solution.

    You can import the older analysis services database into a new project in BIDS, allowing you to work on it and check the structure.

    Open BIDS, click on "Create" in the start page, then "Import Analysis Services Database" as one of the options

    Hi All,

    Thank you so much.

    Some has issue on Dim and cube with Deserialization failed.

    But some OK.

    But at least your guide can help me solved the big issue.
