Dundas map or any mapping tool?

    Hi friends,

    i would like to know if any one have already used dundas map. i m not sure what kind of facility dundas map is giving. We need to do something so that we can enter some postcode into report and it will give all the nearer (say 1 miles around that postcode) number of clients. We are having hospital database and all the patients information into the database. We would like to track the area of patients. Say most of the patients may be coming from certain area. I believe mapping facility works based on latitude and longitude. We have all the postcode of all our patients but we are looking for some tool which can give mapping facility to track it.

    Is it available in dundas? if yes what about quality of street level and number of people it will show around that postcode? something like small circle around that postcode. (10 circle around the postcode if there are 10 patients around the specified postcode in our database).

    any suggestion?

    I have not used Dundas, but the documentation appears to support what you are after. A solution I have used that is free is Google Maps:

    http://www.google.com/enterprise/maps/

    I believe this will also give you what you look for. Simply build an html file per the specification with updated zipcode information and post it. You can update the file as often as you wish.
