dump log to tape

    To All:

    Does anybody know of a way to copy a dump log from tape to disk. The log was dump directly to tape using the sql command, not a ntbackup command therefore the format is the sql ms propretary format.

    To extract it from tape restore the log from the tape with T-sql commands.

    Are you trying to restore the data? Or are you just trying to save a copy of it on disk instead of tape? And by disk, do you mean a CD or hard drive?
