DTS Remote Execution

    Hi all

     

    I am having a real problem and need some help

    all i am trying to do is run some DTS Jobs on demand via a batch file on a remote PC to the server

    i have installed PSEXEC as a tool to use to do this ,i just want the user to run the batch file locally which in turn runs the DTS Jobs on the server

     

    What is the easiest way to do this

    I don't do a lot with DTS, but isn't it actually controlled by jobs in SQL Server Agent, and therefor couldn't you use the sp_start_job stored procedure to start the job you want?
