DTS package runs fine, but when I schedule the job...job runs forever and ever

    I dont think its a user-account issue, as I logged in as Domain Admin and service accounts are run under Domain Admin as well

    The DTS package runs by itself just fine, but when I schedule it to run, the job will kick off and run for days, without stopping, and thereby not giving me a failed message.

    What can I do ?

    It is a very basic job of just winzipping a file on the D drive.

    Run it from the server as well. When you run it from your workstation, it runs under the context of your workstation. When it's scheduled, it runs from the server. It's possible you have some error due to pathing or something that is popping an error.
