I recently received a new laptop and reloaded Sql Server and restored my databases. I regularly copy objects back and forth to the server and my old laptop using the DTS Export. I now receive an error:[SQL-DMO]Create File Error on Server.Database.Log. Access is denied.
I am using Windows Logon on both and should be an admin on both. Does anyone have any ideas on what I am overlooking?
Thanks.

It must be an XP problem since I can go the the server and export to another database on the server, but can't on my laptop. Has anyone experience this?

What's your access level on the laptop? I had something similar happen to me when the IT department took away my local admin privelages on a new notebook.
Hope this helps

It was a problem with user priveledges to the Laptop. Luckily, I had Admin rights to the Laptop and could add my network log in the Admin group. I am not sure I like all of these security features in XP.
Thanks.
