On pc's recently upgraded to Windows XP, we are having problems with DTS packages. When they attempt to "Populate Source Columns from Source", they get a blank list of columns. If they try it again, DTS errors and Enterprise Manager closes. The error they get is: The instruction at "0x4173d23a" referenced memory at "0x00ff1e90". The memory could not be "written". The DTS package is fine on a W2000 machine. Thanks for any suggestions.

We had a similar problem here, it turned out that the server, and the PC running enterprise manager had different versions of MDAC. After getting both the desktop and the server to MDAC 2.8 the problem ceased for us.

Thanks - I'll find out what the versions are.
