I am trying to DTS data in from an Access 97 database secured by an .mdw specific to this database. The package will run from the DTS interface but will not complete when it is scheduled from the sql Agent. It will do the first step of the package which is to drop and recreate a table in the sql database; so it does not appear to be a sql permissions problem(design and run all from same machine, same user).
I have set the .mdw in the system database option from the advanced tab on the Access object and set the username and password. This portion does work as the package runs from the DTS interface. It seems this information does not carry on when run from the agent. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Might still be permissions - maybe the agent account doesnt have access to the mdb? You might try setting up a linked server, then using that in your package. A hack I know, but might be easier to work with.

You could also try running the package from the desktop of the server, sometimes things are set up differently than your machine, and the packages have to be configured a little different. I know I've run into this problem a couple of times.
