DSN to named instance from W95

    I'm having problems creating a DSN to a SQL Server 2000 named instance on a W95 machine with MDAC 2.6SP1.

    Is this possible at all ? - if so, can anyone recommend which MDAC version is needed ?

    I dont have a Win95 machine to test on, but MDAC 2.6 is correct. You can still do it with earlier MDAC's but you have to configure an alias - something worth trying anyway if you're having problems.
