We have a table with over a million rows and there is a primary key on the table.
We have an additional non clustered index that indexes 3 columns.
During the upload or inserting process, what would happen if I removed the non clustered index.
What will happen to the current data and the data being inserted.
I believe the data would still be as it is.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gary

Only the clustered index has anything to do with the actual data in the table. NCIs are their own ball of wax and won't affect any data.
