Trying to drop a publication and getting the error:
Msg 18483, Level 14, State 1, Line 1
Could not connect to server 'SQLWT001B\HUBB' because 'distributor_admin' is not defined as a remote login at the server. Verify that you have specified the correct login name. .
I've tried adding the login on both servers as sysdamin, using sp_addremotelogin, but still get the same error. Replication was working happily, but we needed to stop it. I deleted all subscriprions OK, but can't delete the publications
any help appreciated.

OK, when I dropped the publication when connected to the server, rather than from my PC, it came up with the same error, but allowed me to continue and the publication is now dropped
